MOWS

Well over a week ago, I sent an email to MOWS creator, Jay Dyke, and asked him for permission to use one of his comics on my site. He responded in the positive and I'm just now getting around to reviewing his comic.

Here's the premise....

Three cats Indy, Tigey and Nonie sharing one house and (from what I've read) one human. This comic outlines their daily adventures and thoughts in a very humorous way. Being the care taker of two little furry felines, I can totally relate. These three cats have the conversations that I imagine my furballs have.

The comic is drawn in Flash and it is so slick that it puts other comics to shame.

If you like cats and you like to see a very well drawn comic, this one is for you.

Blessings!

Tomorrow...

Tomorrow, April 8th, is my wife's 50th birthday. Now, Cheryl is fairly easy to buy for -- just pick up a shiny object at your nearest jewelry store and wrap it. Shopping complete.

But, I wanted to get her something special, something she'd never forget -- or quite possibly -- forgive me for. I got her a guest spot in a webcomic!

Yes, sir, you can head on over to PC Weenies and check her and the comic out! I highly recommend this as a gift for nearly everyone. This might even surpass the Christmas present I gave her, which I'll post about some other time.

So, just to recap, Check out PC Weenies and if you see Cheryl tomorrow, wish her a happy birthday!

Man, I hate me some April Fool's Day...

I hate April Fool's Day...

First, I read CTR-ALT-DEL for Saturday. I'm such a goof that I didn't even notice that Lucas and Lila switched shirts. Then, I read Tim's update for today and he mentions that Lucas is not gay. Let me get this straight, no pun intended, Lucas puts on a purple -- too small for him shirt and suddenly he's gay? That is soooo lame. What kind of homophobic morons read CTR-ALT-DEL?

Second, I read my buddy Darren's blurb for today and he starts out with I'm not drawing the script. Well, I almost blew a gasket! I've invested waaaaay too much time carrying about Brian and Davey for him to stop now! Well, it's an April Fool's Day joke. He's not stopping the comic.

Finally, Tyler over at On the Rocks announces on Friday that he's adopting a penguin. Well, now, I'm thinking the world has gone totally mad! Another joke.

Man, I hate me some April Fool's Day.

Hey, later this week, I'll be posting reviews on a couple of comics, Doug Eat Doug and Best in Show. Also, I have a surprise for someone's birthday on this coming Saturday on PCWeenies, but you'll have to wait until Friday to see it.
